My dad just smiled and said:

At the age of 53, I started a new side-hustle – Pink Radiance Cosmetics. The story behind this incredible moisturiser really begins with my dad.

 

Not long ago, my father was in hospital for a pacemaker. During his stay, something unusual happened. Nurses and doctors kept stopping by his room – not to discuss his procedure, but to ask if he was really born in 1944.

 

At 81, they simply couldn’t believe his age. He later admitted that the constant attention made him feel self-conscious, but he also said quietly: “It must be the cream.”

 

For decades, my dad and my stepmom (who has since passed away) had used lanolin faithfully and saw remarkable results – for dry skin, for hands and feet that worked hard, for faces that needed care and rejuvenation. It was never marketed, just shared among us as a family.

 

Lanolin itself has an extraordinary history. For centuries, people have used this natural wax from sheep’s wool to soften, soothe, and protect skin. In fact, when my dad was young, him and his sister used Lanolin (which was sold in simple tubes from the pharmacy) as their go-to for any dry spots, as well as their face cream – and they are evidence of Lanolin’s remarkable results to slow down the appearance of fine lines and to keep your skin hydrated throughout the whole day.

 

Even dairy farmers turned to lanolin to keep cow udders soft and supple, preventing cracks and infection during milking. While Lanolin’s earliest uses were always for people, that shows just how trusted and versatile it became.

 

Our formula contains Lanolin and Vitamin E, which helps protect the skin barrier against free radicals and therefor, counteracts the ageing effects of free radicals. It also contains a miniscule amount of Chlorhexidine which acts as a gentle preservative with antibacterial properties.
